Jeremy Lin leads the Knicks to victory over the Hawks!
Jeremy Lin was in command of the game today as he led the Knicks to another victory to get them at .500 again at 17-17. Lin scored 17 points and 9 assists (with 4 turnovers). More importantly, the ball was distributed well between all players on the Knicks. Carmelo Anthony and Lin began to gel nicely together on the floor, and overall, the Knicks' offense was in control during most of the game. The Knicks now have a deep roster with Baron Davis and JR Smith starting to play again.
The Knicks are currently 7th in the Eastern Conference, and if the playoffs started today, they would be matched up with the Chicago Bulls.
Jeremy Lin, Chuck Norris Status? Ending the MSG/Time Warner Cable Dispute
It's funny to see all of the 'Chuck Norris'-esque headlines and phrases all over the Internet. MSG and Time Warner Cable ended their dispute which started towards the end of the 2011 and left much of New York TWC resident's (ironically) without Knicks games. It's amazing to me that Jeremy Lin was the impetus needed for the two parties along with city officials to come together and come to an agreement a few days ago. Headlines across the nation were stating things like (highly paraphrased) "Lin Ends Cable Dispute" and "Is there anything Lin can not do?"
Jeremy Lin and Kim Kardashian Rumors
Rumors are circulating around the Internet that Lin and Kim Kardashian have been set up on a date by Kim's friend LaLa Anthony, who is friends with Carmelo Anthony. The Internet is filled with different stories regarding this rumor; however, Kim's posse has claimed that this was not true. Even so, some of Kim's close friends have come out and stated that Kim started the rumor herself to become a part of the Linsanity. Regardless of what is true, it is unlikely for Harvard grad, Jeremy Lin to have any interest in Kim. He has stated in an interview that he is currently single and that his ideal girl would be low maintenance and have a strong belief and trust in God. The first is definitely not true of Kim, and the latter is unlikely.
I can't even imagine the complete 180 that Lin's lifestyle has made in the last 2 weeks. He went from getting questioned entering Madison Square Garden (he was asked by security if he was a trainer) to becoming to most talked about sports figure all around the globe! The Linsanity has swept the universe, and other top NBA stories such as the Spurs winning 9 in a row (let's see if the Clippers can break that streak today) and the Miami Heat's destruction on the road (winning 5 road games with large margins of 10+ points, which is the 2nd largest streak in NBA history) has gone under the radar!
Jeremy Lin finally finds an apartment in NY!

Jeremy Lin finally moves into Trump Tower in City Center in White Plains. Many other professional athletes live here. Judging by the pictures, this is a very posh location with nice amenities including a large swimming pool and most importantly, a basketball court. His rent is estimated at $3800 a month, which won't be a problem for him to afford now that he is guaranteed his ~$800,000 contract (which doesn't include the reduction in pay due to a shortened season). I am very happy for Jeremy Lin now that he has a found a place to call home in NY other than his brother or Landry's couch!

Game-linning three!! Lin hits the game winning three pointer vs. the Raptors!!
Jeremy Lin scores 12 points in the 4th quarter including the game winning 3 pointer to make it 6 wins in a row for the Knicks! Lin played over 44 minutes this game, and he also contributed 11 assists. What an exciting way to finish a game where the Knicks trailed for the majority of playing time!
He did miss some free throws (3 in a row in the 4th quarter) and had 8 turnovers, so there are areas to his game that he needs to improve on. However, let's remember that Lin is essentially a 'rookie' point guard who has barely begun his spectacular career.
Amare had 21 points and 9 rebounds in his game back since missing games due to his brother passing away.

Here it is, Landry Field's couch that Jeremy Lin slept on before his awesome performance! Fields posted it on his twitter account.. let's hope this is not a fake. I wonder how comfortable this was for the 6'3 Lin.
Jeremy Lin and Knicks beat Timberwolves to make it 5 wins in a row!
Lin and crew make it 5 in a row for the Knicks by narrowly beating the Timberwolves! The NBA states that the Linsanity around his merchandise continues as his jersey is the #1 selling item for the past 8 days!!
In other news, companies around the world are trying to jump on the Lin-craze by contacting Lin's sports agent, Roger Montgomery for potential marketing agreements with the player. Sources state that the Chinese shoe manufacturer, Li-ning is trying to break into the American market and is working hard to get things going with Lin. You read that right, the company's name is Li-ning.. just imagine all marketing madness that can be generated with the puns that can be pieced together between the shoe company and Jeremy Lin.
The Knicks play the Raptors next on Tuesday followed by a game with the Mavericks. Let's see if the Knicks can make it 6 and 7 in a row!! With Amare and Melo coming back, only time will tell to see how the team will mesh with the added star power.

If anyone is familiar with the hugely popular free game from several years ago, Gunbound, he makes a reference to it as well as in the bottom left image. Who would have ever thought that this kid would ever play against these players he was imitating almost a decade ago!

The fan with the "All I do is Lin,Lin,Lin" t-shirt at the game versus the Lakers posted on the KnicksOnline Forum that he had 4 offers to buy the shirt off his back!!! I can't wait to see what kind of creative t-shirts people will come up with!
